Position Overview: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

We are in search of a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse to provide outstanding medical support within a group home setting. This Full-Time role features a 12-hour day shift, ideal for professionals eager to engage closely with patients requiring specialized care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive daily evaluations of residents
  • Administer a variety of medications as prescribed
  • Maintain meticulous records of patient conditions and any changes
  • Collaborate effectively with Registered Nurses, Physicians, and other healthcare staff for treatment plans and updates
  • Oversee and manage ventilator operations
  • Provide tracheostomy care and suctioning as needed
  • Assist with nutritional support through tube feeding
  • Support management of chronic illnesses
  • Coordinate and schedule medical appointments for clients

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Experience with pediatric patients and in ICU/PCU settings is preferred
  • Training or experience in ventilator management and tracheostomy care
  • Familiarity with the care of individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous
