Job Summary:

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a highly responsible and outgoing Rehabilitation Technician to join our team in our outpatient orthopedic clinic. As a key member of our staff, you will play a significant role in providing quality patient care and supporting our therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out activities delegated by supervisor as allowed under State Practice Acts following Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines
  • Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services (i.e. FCE's, CYBEX, POETS, etc.)
  • Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions and responses to treatment in an effective, professional manner
  • Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment in accordance with company policy and guidelines

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Health care experience
  • Ability to walk, stand, bend and reach consistently throughout a work day/shift
  • Ability to collect copays, schedule patients, answer phones, assist the therapists with exercises, cleaning and maintaining a positive experience for the patients
  • Lift up to 30 pounds for 67%-100% of daily tasks
