Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Blast Engineer to join our team at TTi Global. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing structural and blast engineering designs for our program projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform formal structural calculations dealing with primarily blast loads
- Develop concrete and steel structural design and drawings
- Design and develop foundation designs and drawings
- Review and integrate customer and vendor information into design solutions
- Develop design configuration packages for configuration control, change management, and procurement
- Execute work to schedule requirements while maintaining high-quality work products
- Coordinate with other technical disciplines in planning and executing work as an integrated team
Requirements:
- BS degree in Engineering (Structural or related) from an accredited university, with at least 9 years of relevant experience
- US citizenship is required per contract requirement
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active security clearance
- MS degree in Structural or related Engineering from an accredited university
- Experience designing seismic bracing and supports
- Design experience with Unified Facilities Criteria and the Whole Building Design Guide
- Prior experience working with government agencies, preferably the Department of Defense
- Experience working with procedures meeting quality assurance programs such as ASME-NQA-1, MIL-Q-9858A, or ISO-9000
- Knowledge in use of Bechtel Corporate guides and standards
- Registered Structural Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the United States
- Intermediate knowledge of developing CSI Masterformat specifications, or SpecsIntact
