Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse RN Neonatal Intensive Care NICU to join our team at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare family, you will provide direct nursing care to newborns in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Provides direct nursing care for newborns, including assessment, intervention, and stabilization.
  • Performs clinical nursing duties, such as administering medications, drawing blood samples, and inserting IV lines.
  • Assists physicians with deliveries and provides support during cesarean sections.
  • Monitors and records patient condition, communicating with physicians and families as needed.
  • Assists patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, positioning, and ambulating.
  • Provides education and support to families, promoting family-centered care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with current licensure by the Indiana State Board of Nursing as a Registered Professional Nurse or active Compact State RN license.
  • BSN degree preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
  • NRP certification within six months of hire and STABLE certification preferred.
  • Prior Neonatal Intensive Care, OB/Pediatric experience preferred.
