- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, setting measurable goals and adjusting plans as needed to ensure progress.
- Therapy Services: Provide evidence-based therapy to individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and strategies to address specific needs.
- Documentation and Communication: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about speech and language disorders, providing guidance on strategies to support progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a clinical or educational setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with patients of all ages and diverse backgrounds, and strong organizational and time-management skills.
