Laundry Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team at Holiday Inn Express and Suites Alcoa. As a key member of our hotel staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our laundry department, providing exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

• Laundry Operations: Responsible for the complete upkeep and smooth functioning of the laundry department, including formulating washing formulas, sorting dirty linen, and identifying worn and torn linen.
• Inventory Management: Participates in monthly linen inventory, ensures the washing of linen is up to standard, and coordinates with the Engineering Department for routine maintenance of equipment.
• Guest Service: Communicates with housekeeping to determine the proper level of products in the laundry storage areas, ensures that work is closely coordinated with housekeeping, and maintains a professional appearance in uniform.
• Teamwork: Works well with other team members, attends department meetings, and knows all safety and emergency procedures.

• Education and Experience: Previous laundry or dry-cleaning experience desired.
• Skills and Abilities: Ability to follow instruction, detail-oriented, professional attitude, ability to work independently, and ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
