Key Responsibilities- Provide effective direct care to a variety of complex patients, consistently demonstrating a refined skill level in collaboration with patients, their families, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Manage care and implement treatment plans, seeking and providing feedback for improved clinical practice.
- Assume a beginning leadership role, seeking mentoring in this process.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
- 1 year of relevant experience.
- Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
UVA Health offers a competitive compensation package, including a Tiered Incentive Program designed to provide nurses with compensation incentives for their commitment to working a varying schedule. Our Tiered Incentive Programs offer enhanced compensation for the commitment to work 72 hours per pay period, with a minimum of 48 hours on night shift, flexing remaining hours to meet unit needs and scheduled a maximum of every other weekend.
