Location: Huntsville, AL
We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Specialist to provide technical assistance in support of operating Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for system administration, maintenance, testing, operations, logistics, integration, and installation of FRCS.
Key Responsibilities:
- On-site system administration of FRCS
- Security subject matter expertise in matters pertaining to FRCS/OT environments
- Configuring and implementing industrial control system solutions for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Supervisory, Control, and Data Acquisition (SCADA), building automation, and process control
- Technical assistance with daily operations, system upgrades, and preventative maintenance of assigned FRCS
- Addressing TCP/IP networks and RS-485 communications across multiple protocols including BACnet, Lon, Modbus, and others as required
- Resolving operational and technical deficiencies within the control systems
- Monitoring daily FRCS operations ensuring system performance and data requirements meet specifications
- Testing FRCS to ensure proper functionality
- Identifying, ordering, receiving, and tracking parts for FRCS
- Maintaining technical liaison between government customer and vendors and other stakeholders
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree preferred
- Eight years of related work experience required
- Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
- Active Secret security clearance
- US citizenship
- May require CONUS and/or OCONUS travel to customer sites
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience
