Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Forrest City, AR. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional speech therapy services in a vibrant school environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
  • Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and other healthcare professionals to create a supportive environment that promotes student progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional recommendations and updates on student progress.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatments, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
  • Valid Arkansas state license as a Speech Language Pathologist, or eligibility to obtain.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with a diverse community.
