About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Luxury Bartender to join our team at Dewberry Charleston. As a key member of our Food and Beverage department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service to our discerning guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails and beverages to exacting standards
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of our beverage menu and make informed recommendations to guests
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Work closely with the Culinary team to ensure a cohesive and memorable dining experience
  • Assist with bar setup, maintenance, and inventory management
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our hotel's policies and procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years of high-volume, luxury beverage service experience
  • Thorough knowledge of beverage and cocktail recipes and specifications
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to bend, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, stretch, and reach
  • Ability to work in a hot, humid, and noisy environment
  • Ability to operate hand tools and kitchen equipment
