Job Description

Renesas Electronics is seeking a highly skilled Staff Product Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our product engineering team, you will be responsible for managing multiple new products through their full product lifecycle, from product compliance to sustainment of production released parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement product characterization, qualification, and test plans to ensure compliance with REA guidelines and JEDEC standards.
  • Drive measurements and statistical analysis to optimize product performance and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement production test solutions.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve the new product introduction (NPI) process.
  • Mentor junior product engineering team members to accelerate their technical and career growth.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in product engineering, quality engineering, test engineering, validation engineering, or FA engineering in the fabless industry.
  • Detailed knowledge of digital/analog product characterization techniques and hands-on experience with characterization plans, PVT testing, and reporting.
  • Strong statistical data analysis background and experience with tools such as PDF, JMP, Galaxy Examinator, VB, etc.
  • Working knowledge of product/package qualification processes and hands-on experience with HTOL, ESD, LU, HTS, TC, ELFR, UHAST, endurance, and retention testing.
  • Experience with ATE testing on V93K (PS1600/PS9G/PSSL) ATE testers and hands-on experience with test debug analysis, test programs, STDF, datalog, etc.
  • Familiarity with digital/analog product DFT/DFM methods and JEDEC specs.
  • Detailed knowledge of CMOS processes in HKMG/FINFET processes.
  • Ability to manage complex projects in parallel and on schedule, with experience in project management.
  • Solid organizational skills with attention to detail for risk management.
  • Good communication/reporting skills and self-motivation to work independently and in a team environment.
Education
  • BSEE/MS/PHD in semiconductor-related majors.

Renesas Electronics offers a competitive salary range of $130,000 - $190,000, with bonus pay opportunities.
