The CT Imaging Specialist operates independently within the scope of professional practice, executing essential duties to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This role involves providing compassionate, age-appropriate patient care in accordance with established standards, while collaborating effectively with all healthcare team members. The specialist is accountable for adhering to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Work Schedule: This is a part-time position (0.6FTE), requiring 48 hours of work within a two-week pay period. The typical shift is 12 hours, primarily during evening and night hours, covering specific weekdays.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support certification from a recognized provider.

Preferred:

  • One or more years of experience in a similar role.
  • Additional imaging certifications.
  • ARRT CT certification or completion within a specified timeframe.

Additional Requirements:

Knowledge of current regulations and quality control standards is essential. Previous experience in ambulatory care is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills are crucial for this position.
