Position Overview:

The Speech Language Pathologist plays a vital role in assessing patients, developing care plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions as prescribed by a licensed physician. The SLP is responsible for administering treatment modalities and physical agents to help restore function and prevent further disability resulting from injury, illness, or physical limitations. This role is essential in assisting patients to achieve their highest potential and adapt to their individual capabilities.

The Speech Language Pathologist is also responsible for ensuring accurate patient billing and timely submission of charges. Additionally, the SLP will coordinate and oversee tasks assigned to support staff, such as Occupational and Physical Therapy Aides. Participation in departmental operations, performance improvement initiatives, and compliance with safety protocols is also a key aspect of this role.
