About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Veterinarian to join our team at ACCT Philly. As a key member of our medical leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of the nearly 18,000 animals that come through our doors annually.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide proper medical care to shelter animals, including physical exams, diagnostic tests, and record keeping.
  • Work closely with our medical leadership team to ensure a healthy animal population and address any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with our veterinary nursing staff to provide direct animal care and treatments.
  • Utilize our in-house diagnostic capabilities, including Idexx Counter top ProCyte Dx Hematology Analyzer and Catalyst One Chemistry Analyzer units, to provide accurate diagnoses and treatments.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education to stay up-to-date on the latest shelter medicine practices and techniques.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of up to $135,000 per year, commensurate with experience, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time veterinarians.
