Job Title: Bridge Project Manager I

At HNTB, we are seeking a highly skilled Bridge Project Manager I to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for delivering complex transportation projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project scope and fee quotations, and assist in preparing technical proposals and contracts.
  • Serve as the primary client liaison and manage project teams to deliver scope, schedule, and budgets to completion.
  • Perform technical discipline tasks, including analysis, reports, design, specification, and production for assigned projects.
  • Implement HNTB's project delivery plan using our Sophisticated Delivery Approach (SDA) on each project.
  • Lead the development and execution of project management plans, and supervise and mentor team members to achieve overall project objectives.
  • Coordinate with managers on project staffing, including recruitment, development, retention, and succession of project staff.
  • Partner with Client Service Leaders and pursuit champions to assist with business development, building client relationships, and pursuit efforts for strategic and mini-mega projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience.
  • 2 years of task management or Deputy PM experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • TxDOT or ArDOT Bridge Design/Management Experience.
  • Master's degree in Engineering.
  • 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating with local, state, and Federal agencies in Texas or Arkansas.
