About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team at Glen Burnie Dental Care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and education to promote oral health and prevent disease.
  • Conduct thorough dental hygiene procedures, including cleanings, exams, and patient screenings.
  • Collaborate with our team of dentists and hygienists to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies through ongoing education and training.

Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in Maryland and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation.
  • CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • New graduates and seasoned hygienists are both welcome.
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year.
