Job Description

Hunter Truck is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join their team. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing advanced maintenance and repairs on all truck systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform unsupervised advanced maintenance and repairs on all truck systems.
  • Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform the repair, as directed by a supervisor.
  • Assist other technicians with major repairs.
  • Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
  • Save and tag parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company insurability standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Vocational technical school training or equivalent experience.
  • Automotive experience.
  • Medium and/or Heavy Duty truck experience.
