Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse in the ICU

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at St. Catherine Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in the ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Registered Nurse in the ICU, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing and prioritizing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
  • Providing direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of policies and procedures.

St. Catherine Hospital is a 20-bed hospital located in Garden City, Kansas, serving a diverse population of approximately 30,000 people. Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current RN license in the state of Kansas or a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
  • One year of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an ICU setting.
  • Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
