St. Luke's Health System is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Cardiology Nurse Manager to join our team.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will oversee the management of Treasure Valley Pediatric Cardiology Clinics, Pediatric Intensivists, and Pediatric Hospitalists. Direct reports include RNs, MAs, and Patient Access Specialists. The Manager will also oversee Providers as well.
Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the Pediatric Cardiology Clinics, Pediatric Intensivists, and Pediatric Hospitalists.
- Supervise and develop a team of RNs, MAs, and Patient Access Specialists to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with Providers to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
- 5 years' clinical experience in pediatric cardiology
- Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Knowledge of pediatric cardiology
- Previous leadership experience
- Familiarity with inpatient physician operations
- Understanding of quality metrics, performance improvement, and staffing models
