Perinatal Sonographer

We are seeking a highly skilled Perinatal Sonographer to join our team at Connecticut Children's. As a Perinatal Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams on high-risk obstetrics patients, relaying diagnostic information to maternal-fetal medicine providers, and maintaining equipment, records, and supplies.

• Perform perinatal diagnostic medical sonograms in accordance with protocols to assist physicians with diagnosis and treatment.
• Assist in the training and development of ultrasound skills for trainees.
• Perform ultrasound quality control measures and checks.
• Assist with Maternal Fetal Medicine Interventional procedures.
• Help other roles in the department when time permits.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program required.
• 2 years experience required in perinatal ultrasound.
• Associates Degree preferred.

• Registered A.R.D.M.S.; RDMS Upon Hire.
• Current Basic Life Support, BLS / CPR certification.
• High risk OB U.S. experience preferred.
• Nuchal Translucency certification preferred.
