We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Center Director to join our team at The Learning Experience #144. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experience of our students and supporting the growth and development of our teachers.

Key Responsibilities:
People Leadership:
  • Identify, schedule, and interview teacher candidates to build a strong and diverse team.
  • Conduct regular classroom observations, evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to motivate and encourage learning.
  • Manage team members to ensure the implementation of our curriculum in alignment with brand standards.
  • Use a growth mindset to train, coach, and develop team members for future success.
  • Listen objectively to employee concerns and develop recommended solutions.
  • Build and communicate weekly schedules to ensure effective labor management.
  • Manage daily classroom ratios to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Oversee new hire paperwork and employee files to ensure compliance with state licensing regulations.

Customer Focus:
  • Lead tours with prospective families, highlighting the unique features and benefits of our curriculum and educational approach.
  • Regularly communicate with families regarding student progress and achievements.
  • Execute parent-pleasing initiatives to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective Show and Tell programs to engage families and promote student learning.
  • Audit and maintain records and files for students and teachers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure the physical environment and health/safety standards meet local and state licensing regulations.
  • Manage relationships with state licensors and conduct regular center evaluations.
  • Report accidents and incidents promptly and manage medication administration.
  • Conduct monthly emergency safety drills to ensure preparedness.
  • Manage new customer administration and files to ensure compliance with state licensing regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Two or more years of center leadership/management experience highly preferred; at least one year of experience required.
  • Professional teaching experience with infants to preschool children is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations is required.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification is highly preferred.
  • Must meet state-specific guidelines.
