About the Role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic first aid and perform vital sign checks
  • Assist with catheter and bowel care, including I&O monitoring
  • Perform range of motion exercises and assist with ambulation and transfer
  • Prepare meals according to dietary and nutritional needs
  • Assist with patient personal hygiene, including bathing, toileting, and grooming
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Current, unrestricted certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in home healthcare or a similar setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
