Responsibilities- Sanitation and Cleaning: Ensure all equipment, utensils, and surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a safe working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Load, run, and unload dish machine, and monitor water temperature and chemical usage to ensure optimal performance.
- Supply Management: Properly store and maintain adequate levels of clean tableware, kitchenware, and cleaning supplies.
- Guest Service: Provide excellent internal and external guest services, treating all guests with courtesy and consideration at all times.
- Teamwork: Cooperate and communicate with all employees, always exhibiting mutual respect and consistently projecting a positive, helpful image and attitude.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils maintenance operations, safe practices in a kitchen working environment, and ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per day, lift, push, or pull upwards of 50 pounds, and perform other physical demands as required.
- Work Environment: Work is typically performed within a kitchen and Casino setting, with exposure to second-hand smoke, high noise levels, heat, fumes, and steam.
