About the Role:

The Code Compliance Specialist is a critical member of our team, responsible for enforcing Ellensburg City Codes and state laws. This includes issuing citations, maintaining records, and providing exceptional customer service. As a Code Compliance Specialist, you will work independently with minimal supervision, making this a great opportunity for those who value autonomy and self-motivation.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least two years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on enforcement, administration, and customer service
  • A valid Washington State driver's license and ability to maintain a clean driving record

Special Requirements:

  • A background check, including a credit check and polygraph examination
  • Able to obtain Washington State certification for Access terminal within six months of hire
