Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist to join our team at RCM HealthCare Travel. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and obstetric emergencies.
- Document patient information and care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
- 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery
- Valid licensure and/or certifications for the state of work
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Ability to remain professional during times of stress and change
- Drug screen and Background check
