About the Role

Fotona is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our US team based in the Boston area. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our customers in New England and across the United States.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex troubleshooting and repairs on medical and dental laser systems
  • Instruct customers and staff on the applications and operations of the equipment
  • Submit timely and accurate service reports, timesheets, and other paperwork
  • Self-manage workload to meet customer needs in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with applicable FDA regulations
  • Communicate and collaborate with Fotona team members to maintain a positive work environment
Requirements
  • Minimum Associate's or Technical Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Education or experience with photonics, electronics, biomedical engineering, or similar
  • Customer service and/or field service experience is a strong plus
  • Clear and friendly communication style with excellent command of English
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently
