About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Client Services Representative to join our team at Cetera Financial Group. As a Client Services Representative, you will play a critical role in supporting our Financial Advisors with their day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between Financial Advisors and their clients, providing timely and accurate support.
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and prepare materials for client meetings.
  • Aid Financial Advisors in preparing client illustrations, graphs, charts, reports, and other materials for presentations and appointments.
  • Prepare and complete client paperwork and follow up tasks to support Financial Advisors.
  • Communicate with clients and Financial Advisors to ensure client service level needs are met.
  • Maintain client records and retention management within corporate requirements.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to clients and Financial Advisors on time-sensitive activities.
  • Assume ownership of inquiries and requests, communicating with internal Cetera departments to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Educate clients on account services, capabilities, and new technology.
  • Complete required corporate training on new technologies and follow implementation guidelines.
  • Maintain compliance guidelines, client communication notes in AdviceWorks/SmartWorks and Redtail while following Cetera standards.
  • Work with Advisors through weekly meetings to help maintain Advisors Business Plan process, tasks, marketing, and client communication expectations and follow up processes.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in an administrative or customer service role
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and ability to learn new programs
