Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Music Educator to join our team of elementary school teachers. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching music to students in grades K-5 and will be expected to develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of all learners.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement music lesson plans that meet the needs of students in grades K-5
  • Teach music classes to students in a classroom setting
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement district-wide initiatives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field
  • Valid California Single Subject Music credential
  • Valid authorization to teach English learners in the state of California
  • Experience teaching music to elementary school students
