Official Veterinarian

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Official Veterinarian to join our team at Phoenix Ventures. As an Official Veterinarian, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of animals and meat products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting official animal and meat inspections at our facilities to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Performing hygiene checks at our affiliated cutting and gut processing plant to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Monitoring animal welfare and by-product regulations during the slaughter process to ensure humane treatment and compliance with regulations.
• Conducting the NRKP (National Reference Laboratory for Animal Diseases) to detect and prevent the spread of animal diseases.

Requirements:

• Completed degree in veterinary medicine and veterinary license.
• Qualification as an official veterinarian is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills, resilience, and teamwork abilities to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
