CNA Position Overview

A Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive and personalized care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide supportive services and perform duties as assigned by clinical leadership.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living in accordance with care plans and established policies and procedures.
  • Assist with patient care tasks, including lifting, turning, positioning, transporting, bathing, and feeding.
  • Coordinate dining services, including meal tray delivery, feeding assistance, and documentation of meal intake.
  • Report any changes in a resident's condition to the nurse supervisor and maintain confidentiality of protected health information.
  • Meet the requirements for an active CNA Certification for the applicable state and current CPR/BLS Certification.
