Aerial Firefighting Captain

Coulson Aviation is a global leader in aerial firefighting, operating in Canada, the USA, Australia, and South America. Our fleet of large aerial firefighting aircraft, consisting of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, enables us to provide rapid aerial fire suppression services, including initial attack and extended attack protocols.

We are seeking experienced helicopter captains with S76 Pilot in Command experience and firefighting operations expertise for full-time employment. The successful candidate will be required to work in the USA and overseas on fire assignments, covering all piloting operations for our S76 aircraft.

• Flight and operational planning
• Weight and balance data management
• Fuel management and optimization
• Accurate tracking of duty, flight, and maintenance times
• Compliance with all FAR and Company policies
• Providing exceptional customer service
• Conducting nighttime reconnaissance of wildland fires using Night Vision Goggles (NVGs)

• FAA Commercial License
• FAA Second Class Medical
• Must have Sikorsky S76 experience
• Must have NVG PIC Endorsement
• No accidents, incidents, or violations

• Firefighting and/or utility experience
• Current interagency card or cardable
• Instrument rating
• Low-Level & Recon experience preferred
• Mountain Terrain experience

No relocation is required, but travel is necessary. The schedule is even on/even off (12 and 12).
