Medical Imaging Assistant Supervisor at Atlantic Health System

Location: Morristown, NJ

Schedule: Full-Time

Type: Professional

Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Overview: Atlantic Health System is in search of a dedicated Full-Time Medical Imaging Assistant Supervisor for the Mammography division within the Radiology department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operations of the Carol G Simon Ripple Breast Center, ensuring high-quality breast imaging services.
  • Manage patient care delivery, focusing on enhancing breast health outcomes.
  • Streamline operational processes to facilitate efficient patient access to imaging services.
  • Foster team development through educational initiatives and competency-based training.
  • Support quality improvement projects and assist in the management of capital budgets related to the Breast Center.
  • Contribute to the creation of marketing strategies to promote services.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of financial management within the department.
  • Act as a resource for the Radiology Department and the broader community.
  • Participate in leadership committees and hospital councils as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with nursing and imaging leadership to uphold organizational values and policies.
  • Implement evidence-based practices in alignment with standards set by the American College of Radiology (ACR).

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiology program.
  • Current certification in ARRT (R) and Mammography.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in medical imaging within a hospital environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with EPIC and API scheduling is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
