This position presents an excellent opportunity for candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Construction Law, looking to join a respected legal practice. The role entails representing esteemed design professionals across various facets of professional liability, including the review, drafting, and negotiation of contracts, as well as court representation when required. You will play a crucial role throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate a diverse range of construction-related agreements.
- Advocate for a variety of design professionals, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Represent clients in alternative dispute resolution, depositions, and court proceedings as necessary.
- Provide legal counsel to ensure compliance with regulatory standards throughout projects.
- Conduct legal research and stay informed about legislative changes.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues on high-stakes matters.
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in New York, with a preference for New Jersey as well.
- 3+ years of experience in Construction Litigation.
- Experience in litigation within both state and federal courts.
- Trial experience is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
