POSITION OVERVIEW

ProfessionLX, Ltd specializes in delivering professional services that empower our employees to excel in supporting our clients. We are currently looking for part-time candidates for the role of Protestant Education Program Coordinator. This position will act as a vital resource for the Chaplain Corps, focusing on the execution of Protestant Religious Education and Sacramental Preparation for the Protestant community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, manage, and oversee the Protestant parish ministry by creating schedules and volunteer lists for various parish organizations and programs, including Religious Education Programs, Youth Organizations, and Community Outreach Initiatives.
  • Participate in monthly Protestant Advisory Council meetings, providing updates and reports on the Religious Education program.
  • Prepare essential documentation such as correspondence, budget proposals, weekly bulletins, program announcements, training materials, meeting agendas, and certificates of appreciation for volunteers.
  • Administer a weekly Religious Education program catering to all age groups, including children's worship services during Protestant gatherings.
  • Oversee the volunteer program, which includes recruiting, training, conducting background checks, and maintaining volunteer records.
  • Design an annual schedule for the Religious Education program, encompassing events, promotional activities, funding requests, and facility usage.
  • Generate necessary reports, including After Action Reports, Weekly Activity Reports, Annual Budgets, and Surveys.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role as a Protestant Education Coordinator or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in volunteer management, event planning, training, and preparing sacramental requirements.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining Religious Education curriculum and promotional materials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
