Revolutionize Casualty Insurance with Relm

We're seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our US Casualty insurance offerings, driving innovation and excellence in a rapidly evolving market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive US underwriting strategy, ensuring profitability, retention, and written premium goals are met.
  • Lead a high-performing underwriting team, fostering a culture of growth, training, and development.
  • Negotiate and draft policy and endorsement wording, maintaining compliance with internal and external guidelines.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with brokers and policyholders, driving new distribution channels and sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve company goals, identifying cross-sell opportunities and contributing to strategic underwriting planning.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years of US Casualty insurance underwriting and/or broking experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field.
  • Strong relationships with US wholesale and retail brokers.
  • Thought leadership in the US Casualty insurance market.
  • Experience with policy and endorsement wording negotiation, preparation, and drafting.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Superb leadership qualities, with the ability to build a global team.
  • Creative problem-solving, critical thinking, and an ethical approach to getting things done.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Confident communication and persuasion skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with familiarity with Mac OS a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort with leading client and broker meetings.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and work ethic.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience managing a primary book of business.
  • Data analytics skills in MS Excel or Power BI.
  • Professional designation in insurance underwriting.
  • Interest in Web3, Digital Assets, Blockchain, Cannabis, AI, or Financial Markets.
