Position Overview

MCR Health, Inc. is seeking a Senior Vice President of Family and Internal Medicine to guide our expanding organization, which encompasses over 35 locations across three counties. We are accredited by the Joint Commission, HRSA, and URAC, and we actively engage in research initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive background in managing healthcare providers, including physicians, APRNs, and PAs, within a large multi-specialty outpatient environment. Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting is advantageous.

MCR Health operates more than 30 sites with a workforce exceeding 1,000 members across 18 specialties, with continued growth anticipated. This physician leader must have experience in organizations of similar or greater scale to effectively implement MCR's policies and programs while thriving in a dynamic, high-growth atmosphere. The candidate should have a proven track record of collaborating with executive leadership and achieving positive outcomes in patient safety, quality of care, regulatory compliance, provider productivity, engagement, and operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all Physician Leaders within the Family and Internal Medicine divisions.
  • Develop strategic and operational plans to define, monitor, and enhance divisional performance, productivity, and revenue in alignment with established KPIs.
  • Ensure patient care adheres to Joint Commission (TJC) and HRSA standards, as well as HEDIS quality measures.
  • Maintain an active patient load to foster ongoing connections with patients and align with the needs of the providers under supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited institution is required.
    • Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is mandatory.
  • Current Florida professional license and DEA registration required (or the ability to obtain within 60 days).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute is required.
  • Local hospital admission privileges required (or the ability to obtain within 60 days).
  • A minimum of 10 years of clinical experience as a physician is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Medical Director or physician leadership role is essential.
  • Strong expertise in Internal and Family Medicine is necessary.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to drive outcomes that benefit the organization.
  • Understanding and commitment to healthcare's Triple Aim is essential.
