Job Title: Front-End Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer with a strong focus on Typescript development to join our team at Premier, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive user interfaces using React in Typescript.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate closely with a small, tight-knit team to deliver projects on time and to specification.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and practices.
Requirements:
  • Years of Applicable Experience - 2 or more years
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of modern typescript development and testing practices
  • Strong proficiency in React and a deep understanding of modern frontend development practices.
  • Ability to read and understand code in older frameworks (e.g., Legacy Angular) to perform bug fixes and refactoring as needed.
  • Comfortable working in a remote, distributed team environment.
  • Comfortable taking ownership of a project from start to finish
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to understand and communicate technical requirements to project managers
  • Experience with UI/UX design or a strong interest in learning more about it.
  • Knowledge of backend development or full-stack experience is nice to have.
