About the Role

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a highly motivated and experienced project manager to lead federal facility and infrastructure projects for the Department of Defense (DOD).

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multi-discipline design projects, including developing cost and technical proposals, coordinating design efforts, managing schedules and budgets, and managing client expectations and satisfaction.
  • Grow relationships and market share in areas of expertise.
  • Develop and maintain client and partner relationships by building trust and providing high service levels.
  • Plan, coordinate, communicate, and facilitate activities of several disciplines on multiple projects from concept through completion.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and partners.
  • Manage project delivery, including scoping, budgeting, maintaining schedules, meeting budget objectives, and communicating and meeting deadlines.
  • Promote safe work environments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 7 years of related experience in DOD, including delivering facilities and infrastructure project designs.
  • Customer-focused with good relationship-building and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to make thoughtful, informative, and persuasive presentations to clients.
  • Ability to represent Burns & McDonnell in a professional, competent manner.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional registration (PE or AIA).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance.
