Key Responsibilities:

  • Dust and clean furniture, woodwork, and equipment.
  • Polish and sanitize fixtures in various rooms and restrooms.
  • Utilize mechanical cleaning equipment such as floor cleaners, buffers, and vacuums.
  • Wet-mop floors and shampoo carpets and upholstery.
  • Clean high areas including vents and windows using ladders.
  • Collect and dispose of waste materials in designated containers.
  • Assist in moving furniture and heavy items as needed.
  • Perform thorough cleaning of patient rooms and prepare them for new occupants, adhering to isolation protocols.
  • Disinfect all surfaces in bathrooms, including floors, mirrors, and walls.

Job Requirements:

This role is physically demanding and requires:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, kneel, and crouch frequently.
  • Previous experience in environmental services is advantageous.
  • A strong work ethic and effective communication skills.
