Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy services to pediatric patients to older adults based on diagnosed conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety, as well as excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide speech therapy services to patients of all ages, including evaluation and treatment.
  • Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members.
  • Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
  • Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards, and applicable state/federal laws.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Graduate of a master's level program in Speech Language Pathology which is accredited by Education Standards Board or whose practice meets ASHA certification requirements.
  • Must possess independent decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients, and families.

This is a contract assignment for 13 weeks, with a 5x8 day shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for speech language pathology and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
