Job Summary

Orlando Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exercise professional judgment in the performance of services and maintain a demeanor that supports quality care.
  • Deliver appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
  • Comply with all state and federal regulations applicable to each modality.
  • Adhere to Orlando Health's mission statements and strategic imperatives.
  • Assess the patient's physical condition and age-specific needs.
  • Provide instructions that achieve patient cooperation and desired results.
  • Perform proper patient identification, acquire patient clinical history, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Position patients, equipment, associated devices, and manipulate technical factors to achieve high-quality images for interpretation.
  • Assess diagnostic images for technical quality, proper annotation, and patient identification, ensuring all relative anatomy is demonstrated.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid Certified Radiologic Technologist licensure by the State of Florida.
  • Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification in CT.
  • Maintain current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
