Job Description

The Investigative Professional will develop investigation plans, review them with clients, and conduct timely and impartial investigations. The successful candidate will write clear and concise reports and make reliable determinations of policy violations when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop investigation plans that foster a timely, fair, thorough, and impartial investigation
  • Review the investigation plan with the client as necessary
  • Conduct investigations in a timely manner, keeping all parties informed of progress
  • Write clear, concise, thorough investigation reports
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience conducting investigations, including Title IX investigations, in an educational setting
  • Thorough knowledge of Title IX investigation regulations and processes
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Strong analytical ability and reasoning skills
  • Superior interview skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proven ability to handle multiple investigations simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years investigation experience in an educational setting
  • Strong track record conducting diverse Title IX, Title VII/EEO, student conduct, and other types of civil rights investigations
