Ambulatory Care RN Manager

This role will support AATC, Bridge Program/Clinic, ETC and HUB by overseeing daily operations and patient care activities in ambulatory settings. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality, accessible, and cost-effective care is provided to members across the continuum, adhering to local, state, and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise daily operations and service delivery to ensure seamless patient care.
- Ensure staff provides high-quality care and adheres to regulatory requirements, including the Nurse Practice Act, NCQA, TJC, federal, state, and local regulations.
- Implement and maintain patient care and quality service standards to meet member and internal client expectations.
- Act as a patient advocate, resolving care issues and ensuring patient satisfaction.
- Develop and implement processes to improve systems and patient care results across the continuum of care.
- Assist in developing and monitoring budgets and resource allocations to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Monitor financial performance and identify strategies to reduce costs and improve quality of care/service.
- Determine the appropriate staff mix for the department and develop processes to screen, interview, hire, train, and maintain staff competency.
- Provide ongoing staff development and training to ensure staff are equipped to provide high-quality care.
- Supervise the implementation of policies and procedures that support the organization's goals and business objectives.
- Collaborate with physicians, department chiefs, and nursing managers to develop patient services and day-to-day operations.
- Manage and resolve human resource, labor relations, employee safety, and risk management issues.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in ambulatory care or other relevant clinical experience required.

- Minimum two (2) years in a healthcare leadership capacity.
- OR
- Completion of Kaiser Permanente Southern California Postgraduate Fellowship in Health Care Administration.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelors degree or four (4) years experience in a directly related field.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
- Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire.
- Basic Life Support required at hire from American Heart Association.
- Clinical specialization in area of practice preferred.
- Healthcare supervisory experience is preferred.
- Case management experience is preferred.
