Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our team. As an SDE II, you will take ownership of the software design, development, and engineering approach for our cloud-based benefits platform. You will work closely with engineers, product stakeholders, and managers to build large-scale systems and create innovative algorithms.

Your daily work will involve interacting with cross-functional teams, working on creative solutions, and delivering high-quality results. If you have a passion for building scalable systems and a desire to be a key technical contributor, we want to hear from you.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need 3+ years of professional software development experience, including experience with at least one programming language. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is also required.

You will need excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a broad array of experiences. Knowledge of distributed real-time systems, big data, and orchestration software is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

In addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, this position may include equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package.
