Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Technician to join our team at Montefiore Medical Center. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Help patients with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting a positive and uplifting environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and progress.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with vocational/technical training preferred.
  • Effective English communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Certification in Phlebotomy and EKG monitoring.
