We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of Washington Medical Center - Montlake. As a member of our award-winning team, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage high-risk patients, including those with medical comorbidities and complex neonatal needs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- One or more years of experience as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Washington.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- New to OB: two or more years of critical care or inpatient acute care nursing experience.
