The Cambridge Health Alliance is seeking a highly skilled Milieu Counselor/Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in providing quality patient care and developing professionally.
About the Job
This position requires a strong understanding of nursing practices and procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work on a 22-bed unit and be responsible for a safe and structured unit milieu as well as attending to the individual needs of patients in crisis.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality patient care according to Cambridge Health Alliance standards of nursing practice
- Develop professionally as a member of the multidisciplinary team
- Responsible for a safe and structured unit milieu
- Attend to the individual needs of patients in crisis
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED required
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant or a current nursing student who has completed a clinical rotation
- Current BLS issued by American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers required
