Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team at Rockaway Animal Hospital for an overnight shift position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary care and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to our veterinary team
  • Perform diagnostic tests, medical treatments, and other procedures as needed
  • Assist with IVC placements, blood draws, IM and Subq injections, and other medical procedures
  • Work collaboratively with our veterinary team to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Technician
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
