Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at UMHS - University of Missouri Hospital. As a Travel MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and images
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest MRI technology and techniques
Requirements
  • Current certification in MRI technology
  • Experience working with MRI equipment and software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (NRP) certification
  • Chemotherapy (CHEMO) certification
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification
  • Tech Cert Verification - National certification
  • HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement
  • State License 1 Verification
  • NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
  • NIH Stroke Certification
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute certification
  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
  • Competency Exam
  • Core Part I
  • Core Part II
  • Core Part III
  • Conscious Sedation Competency Exam
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma, ICU, or Peds environment
  • Experience working with Siemens, Cerner, or McKesson software
  • NIH Stroke Certification
  • CPI certification for Psych/Behavioral Health RNs
