Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Biogenesys. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Patient-Centered Care: Provide efficient and effective nursing care to patients, achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Operate within Scope of Practice: Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and adhere to the State Nurse Practice Act.
- Contribute to Nursing Assessments and Care Planning: Participate in nursing assessments and contribute to care planning, providing direct patient care and supervising unlicensed staff.
Requirements:
- Education and Licensure: Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing and currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
- Experience: Preferred experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.
- Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles, ability to recognize and identify symptoms, manage emergency situations, and coordinate, delegate, and supervise unlicensed nursing functions.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the spoken English language to ensure patient safety and well-being.
Work Environment:
- Shift: 2nd Shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)
- Meal Break: 30 minutes
- Number of Openings: 1
